Sukkot: is an eight-day harvest holiday that arrives during the Hebrew month of Tishrei. What they do during Sukkot is they build a Sukkah, eat in the Sukkah, and wave the Lulav and etrog. they celebrate Sukkot because back in the days, they would build Sukkah's, and eat in them.
Purim: Jews celebrate Purim by celebrating how queen Esther saved the jews of Persia from Amihilation. They celebrate with costumes such as, noise makers, food baskets, haman and ashen cookies, a festive meal, and carnivals. Therefore, Purim is a favorite Jewish holiday for children and adults.
Passover: celebrates the birth of the Jewish nation.
Rosh Hashanah: is the first and second days of the first Jewish month of Tishrei.
Yom Kippur: probably the most important holiday of the Jewish year
Hanukkah: Hanukkah is an annual Jewish festival celebrated throughout eight consecutive days.
Shavuot: Shavuot is a Jewish holiday that celebrates the giving of the torah to the Jews.
Symbols:
The Star of David represents Jewish faith, while the Menorah is the oldest symbol of jewish faith.
